The AWESCO-PhD student will be hosted at Institute for Electrical Drive Systems and Power Electronics (EDSPE) at TUM. He/She will have full access to scientific staff and research infrastructure of the EDSPE and the Control of Renewable Energy Systems (CRES) group at TUM Munich School of Engineering. EDSPE and CRES collaborate closely in the fields of renewable energy systems (such as photovoltaics, wind energy as well as energy efficiency of electrical drives) and sensorless control of electrical drive systems. Currently, EDSPE and CRES comprise 12 PhD candidates and 8 graduate researchers in the field of renewable energy systems.
